Enter The Paleo Diet
Because of this drop in quality problems have already begun to rise. In many civilized countries heart disease has become the number 1 cause of death. Of course there are are factors that go into this like polluted air and stress, but nothing affects the old ticker more than what you eat. Obesity is rampant and it’s not just because of low self control, but because of the saturated fat content, abundance of carbohydrates and so on.
In the 1970’s a brilliant idea emerged. If we are doing so bad now, why not reset and go back to a period when the diet was better. And so we did. We went back to the Paleolithic era, and we tried to recreate the exact diet that our body has evolved to consume. A paleo diet food list may confuse some people, it seems rather random, but it really has good reasoning behind it. As far as benefits go, the science backs it up. Due to the fact that we were genetically evolved to consume this stuff , paleo diet food list consumption by following a paleo diet meal plan has beneficial effects. Without going too much into details, the human body has certain resource consumption cycles that we have unbalanced. By returning to this ancestral diet, and giving up our sedentary lifestyles, we are basically increasing our life span . Also studies show that a person that’s on the paleo diet meal plan is more likely to gain increased physical endurance. It just harmonizes with your body. Of course sacrifices have to be made. Most of us love things like French fries, ketchup, tomatoes and so on. Well these things were not available back then so we have to say goodbye to our beloved fast food. Of course given its popularity, there are bound to be some excellent paleo fast food and paleo soup recipes in the near future. But food items like fish, cow meat are totally acceptable.
There are some that say this diet is not effective. Because basically we are basing all of this on what we think people might have live like a few hundreds of thousands of years ago. This may be all hocus pocus but for the time, I’m not giving up on my idea of paleo fast food and some tasty paleo soup recipes. And even if it’s not a perfect diet, it has basically everything you need, so it still might be very good for you. It’s about 65 percent animal protein ( which is further divided into fish and grazer meat) and about 35 % green content. So if you think this diet is the real deal and it will work for you, you are welcome to give it a go.
